Best Wishes to Chris!

Many of you have met Chris at the studio over the past couple of years.  While working here he has worked with sales, event photography, and album and book design.   He is leaving Studio Belle Visage for employment with Davis Heating and Air Conditioning in Rocky Mount.  I have enjoyed working with Chris and wish him the of best success on his new position.   We are going to miss you!

Congratulations Kate & Dan

Studio Belle Visage was out again on May 12th, photographing a wedding for Kate & Dan at Rocky Mount Baptist Church and then Water's Edge Country Club.  Kate and Dan made for a beautiful couple to work with, inside and out!  We all enjoyed the traditional church ceremony in Rocky Mount and then the couple went on to Water's Edge Country Club at Smith Mountain Lake to celebrate with family and friends.  Kates beautiful were from the Crystal Orchid.  Below is our slideshow showcasing a few of their wedding day photos.

O'Keeffe Wedding at Smith Mountain Lake

Above is our photo slideshow from Amy & Dennis' beautiful wedding at Bernard's Landing on Smith Mountain Lake last Saturday, April 21st.    Dennis & Amy were a lot of fun to work with.  Both families were so amazing, we came away feeling like we were family too.  We wish them many happy years together!  The slideshow shares more images from their special wedding day at Smith Mountain Lake.  The weather may have been damp at times during the afternoon, but trust me, it didn't dampen the spirits or fun for these two.  They had a beautiful wedding and a great reception party as well.

Amy and the bridesmaid's started the day at The Vintage Spa in Rocky Mount.  The reception food service was provided by Chanticleer Catering.

Temporary Job Opening

We are looking for a new face at Studio Belle Visage!  We are offering a temporary part time position with the following responsibilities:

Cheerful and responsible personality to answer phone, great and interact with clients, make appointments, package product and contact clients.  Fluency with Facebook and Internet skills necessary.  Light housekeeping is a responsibility such as vacuum, dust and carry out trash on a regular basis.  May also be required to lift, carry and help with camera gear when packing/unpacking for location jobs and events.  Typical expected hours 3:30pm to 6pm, Tues-Fri and Saturdays as needed.

Two more days of bunny photos.....

It has been a busy week at Studio Belle Visage.  We are offering our annual event of Children's Spring Portraits with bunnies.  One of our little bunnies is featured below.  It has been a lot of fun.  We have a couple of slots open this afternoon and two appointments left for tomorrow at our studio in Rocky Mount.  After tomorrow this event is gone until next year.  If you are interested in any of the openings call us ASAP at 540.489.7722.

Studio Belle Visage Bridal Portraits

It is a definite sign of spring at Studio Belle Visage when the phone begins to ring for bridal portraits.   In looking at our calendar, we already have three bridal portrait sessions planned between now and the end of the month.  What many people do not realize is that whether or not we are your wedding day photographer we welcome the opportunity to offer custom bridal portraits and engagement products.  In today's economy, many people are looking for ways to cut wedding day expenses.  While many are using friends or neighbors to photograph the wedding, don't rule out the option of a professional studio wedding portrait.  In the past few months, we have photographed couple sessions of the bride and groom, in studio, that wanted professional images to celebrate their marriage, even though they had a very small or informal wedding.   It is also very common for us to create bridal portraits or couple portraits for clients that use a family member as a photographer, or a photographer without a studio for their wedding day.  Studio Belle Visage offers both studio and location options.  Please contact us for details about your custom bridal portrait today at 540.489.7722.

Did you miss us?

Studio Belle Visage is open today after being away for several days to attend Virginia Professional Photographers Association Convention.  We have a lot of new ideas and products to intergrate into our business over the next few months, so stay turned for many great new things to come.  We are very blessed to be involved with such an amazing group of professional photographers.  We will post more info about our prints and awards in regards to print (photo) competition over the next few days/weeks.  A big congratulations is also in order for Chris who entered print competition, and in his first year earned two blue ribbons and Court of Honor Award.  That is an amazing accomplishment for a first time entrant.
